The sweetness of groundnuts, the bite of boondi, the crunch of sev, the tang of hing and curry leaves - theres something in it for every palate. At the VS home, Paati made many versions of mixture, but the Madras mixture, with a generous overdose of peanuts and hing, was widely considered her finest.
